Fact: NFTs have taken the world by storm, but what types of NFTs can we see in the wild today?
For folks who are just getting started, here are the top six uses we’ve seen so far. Keep in mind it is early days with NFTs and this space moves quickly. What was once the most popular category could be the least popular in a matter of months or years; all the more reason to follow along, right?

ART NFTs
Even if you’re new to the world of NFTs, you know that art is the most popular category. Artists can create 1/1, generative art, short videos, or even GIFs to sell online.
Fun fact: The most valuable NFT is by renowned artist Beeple and sold for a whopping $69 million.
MUSIC NFTs
A music NFT is a tokenized version of a piece of music such as a song, album, or a music video.
NFTs have given musicians an opportunity to create a sustainable way to make a living while retaining creative control. Kings of Leon was the first band to release an album as an NFT.
FASHION NFTs
2021 was the year of fashion NFTs and they’re just getting started. From exclusive drops to accessorizing avatars in the metaverse, collectors are ready to engage with their favorite fashion brands in web3.

MEME NFTs
It’s a meme world and we’re just living in it, so it’s no surprise that meme NFTs have become a valuable digital asset.

Just like their physical counterparts, NFT collectibles can have varying degrees of rarity, and value. It’s not surprising that sports franchises have dived in. For example, basketball fans can own collectibles of the NBA’s greatest plays and players.

AVATAR NFTs & PFP NFTs
